The Open was lovely. I saw my photo on the wall for maybe...20 minutes in it's display duration of 4 weeks. Which is fine...The actual open was very crowded and too claustrophobic for me. I wasn't able to display it at CSI because the dates clashed. Instead, another piece was placed in the CSI gallery "Untitled 2" was chosen in it's place. Why? I don't know, ask my professor.

Well, classes are in full swing and I must say it's been quite overwhelming. The amount of work I plastered on myself is starting to get to me. Other than that, things have been pretty spiffy. I miss photography quite a lot.

Sculpting isn't what I expected it to be but I'm still giving it a chance. I'm on my second painting in painting class and drawing is...well, drawing. I'm happy with the current drawing I'm working on...my professor on the other hand, is being a bit too harsh with it I think. Probably because it's and intermediate course. *shrugs*

The classes giving me the most problems, as far as focus goes is the Art History courses. They're killing me. Slowly. I mean, don't get me wrong, I like looking at art but...the amount of work I need to memorize in the given time is insane. I'm struggling in those courses and I just pray I can hold on until the end and come out with a semi-decent grade.

I'm concerned about where I'm going with this. I've all these plans for being an Art major but not in the field I really want. CSI doesn't offer graphic arts courses and I'm very upset that I have no training, other than my own fiddling with Adobe. I've really got to get these basic courses out of the way and pray that it's of some use to me in the future.
